Ripples Have Ridges

I made this for a friend using up scraps of yarn, and I'm liking the ripples. I may have to attempt a blanket one of these days!

New Lives

I've had a project this winter. I always have something. My cold winter afternoons have been spent giving old cabinet doors new lives as trays. Serving trays, clutter catcher trays, lap desks. It's been fun playing in the paint. I gave two away as Christmas gifts (not pictured) and I've sold three of these already. I think I'm done for awhile, but it was fun while it lasted!

Apple Pie

This morning Dan was out blowing snow and I stayed busy baking us a treat. Yum! The apples have been in our front porch "walk in cooler" since fall. I don't add any sugar since Dan is diabetic, and it tastes just fine.

Show Without the Tell

Now for a little show and tell. Or, maybe just show. I like to stay busy. Get creative. It's my therapy. Here is some of my handiwork.

A Fresh Start

I decided to start fresh. I've deleted all my former breaths of life. It was kind of sad, but also quite freeing. Sometimes all that old junk can bog us down. It's a new year, a new day. It's also snowing like crazy outside so I am going to live in this photo for awhile and think about warmer days.
